105 MacDougal St. is now a mexican restaurant, but 50 years ago it was the Fat Black Pussycat cafe. The cafe, along with Cafe Wha? down the street, was where many folk musicians performed, including a young Bob Dylan. It was in this building that Dylan, supposedly while killing time before a show, wrote “Blowin In The Wind”. It took him 20 minutes to write. (at Greenwich Village)
