Anyways, this was the first time I heard this song live. It’s a terrific song, but when Stina Marie Claire Tweeddale (of Honeyblood, who was the opening act) went onstage to do Monica Queen’s part, it instantly became my new favorite Belle & Sebastian song. You can’t really hear her sing in this video, but she’s mesmerizing. Just look at the way she moves and sings. She IS Lazy Line Painter Jane.
