Classic description of a band- “a Brooklyn based indie band”
Moving to NYC won’t make your band more popular. You’ll probably just spend all your money on rent and won’t be able to buy a van to tour in. But if you want to just play a couple random opening slots and fade into obscurity, then NYC might be a good option. Not trying to be an asshole, just annoyed by the amount of people I know who had that idea and can barely afford rent with a full time job there.
